RRB released Admit Card For Group Examinations 4 days prior to the exam.
Download the admit card through e-mail directly as the login link of RRB is not working properly
Railway Recruitment Board Group D exam started from 17/09/2018. RRB started sending admit cards through E-mail to the candidates as the direct login link is not working properly due to heavy rush on the RRB server. Around 2,12,00,000 candidates have applied for 62,907 posts .The posts were further increased to 1,10,000.

RRB Group D recruitment comprises of three stages Computer Based test, Physical efficiency Test and document Verifications.
Computer Based Test:- It will be online on a specified date and venue mentioned in the E-call letters (Admit Card).
Total Duration of the test: 90 Minutes, No of Questions asked: 100

General Awareness & Current Affairs
Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories: UR -40%, OBC-30%, SC-30%, ST30%.
Question Type: The questions will be objective type multiple choice. There will be negative marking one- third for each wrong answers
Syllabus for CBT Exam:
Mathematics-Number system, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Mensuration, Time and Work; Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, Square root, Age Calculations, Calendar & Clock, Pipes & Cistern etc. b. General Intelligence and reasoning Analogies, Alphabetical and Number Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical operations, Relationships, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Conclusions and Decision making, Similarities and Differences,
Analytical Reasoning,-Classification, Directions, Statement – Arguments and Assumptions etc.
General Science:- The syllabus under this shall cover the Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences of 10 standard level.
General Awareness based on current affairs in Science & Technology, Sports, Culture, Personalities, Economics, Politics and any other subjects of importance.
PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TESTS (PET): The Candidates who qualify CBT test will be called for PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TESTS (PET).The no. of candidates will be twice the vacancy in each category.The Criteria of PET Test are
Should be able to lift and carry 35 kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down.
Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance.
Should be able to lift and carry 20 kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down.
Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in one chance
Document Verification’s:– After clearing Both Computer-based test (CBT) and Physical Efficient Test (PET) candidates will be called for document verification. In the case of two candidate securing the same marks, the merit will be prepared on the basis of their age. Candidates shortlisted for document verification are required to produce all original documents along with two sets of self-attested photocopies of all the required documents.

Some Tips for Preparation of Exam
RRB Group D Exam starts from 17-Sept-2018 in three shifts in a day. Here are some points helpful in preparation if Exams.
1. Divide the topics of Each subject into Easy, Moderate and Hard Levels. Make short notes on each topic separately and revise these notes at least two times daily.
2. Solve previous year papers and Mock test at least two test series daily. Many questions of science portions are repeated in RRB Group d exams. Focus on your Speed and accuracy.try to solve more questions correctly within the time limits.
3. While solving the previous year papers and mock tests make notes of the questions which were unknown or not correct. Also, make notes of other options in the questions which are important.
4. Focus on current affairs topic more. Read newspapers and current affairs of at least previous three months carefully.
